Asiana retires final passenger B747-400

On 25 March 2024, Asiana Airlines carried out its final passenger Boeing B747-400-flight. The airline had a single one left in the fleet and this aircraft, HL7428 (28552), carried out the final flight on this date. It operated as OZ712, flying from Taipei to Seoul-Incheon.

The retirement marks the end of an era for the Asiana Airlines, which took delivery of its first passenger B747-400 in November 1991. You can still spot an Asiana B747-400 though, as the airline will continue to operate its ten freighters.
