On 17 November 2025, on the first day of the Dubai Air Show, Boeing and Air Senegal announced the airline's first order for the B737MAX. The deal, once finalized, is for a firm order for nine B737-8s, with options on another six. No delivery timeline has been announced for the airline's largest order to date.
Currently, Air Senegal is operating a fleet of five aircraft, consisting of two ATR72-600s, one Airbus A321s, and two A330-900s. Of these, it seems only a single ATR72 is flying, the rest is all parked. Which means this order for up to fifteen B737-8s is quite the increase for the airline.
