Alliance Air orders 2 ATR42-600s

ATR has announced that Alliance Air has ordered two new ATR42-600s, which will be leased via TrueNoord. Deliveries are to begin later this year. The airline will utilize the two serving challenging airports in the Himalayas.

Since last month, Alliance Air is now an independent airline after the government sold-off Air India and Air India Express to Tata. It operates a fleet of eighteen ATR72-600s.
