Ansat makes hard landing in Izhevsk

The Russian Federal Ministry of Health reported about a landing incident of an ambulance helicopter on the territory of the 1st Republican Clinical Hospital in Izhevsk, near the Votkinsk highway, which occured on 23 September.

The Ansat-GMSU helicopter (registration RA-20014, msn 33090) had crash-landed on top of the garage, as shown by photographs from eyewitnesses.

The chopper was transporting a patient with acute coronary syndrome from Mozhga, to be examined at the diagnostic centre.

According to the Ministry, there were four people onboard and one passenger, a paramedic, who suffered a head injury and had to be examined by the doctors of the hospital.
