Edelweiss takes delivery of 1st A350
On 13 March 2025, Edelweiss Air took delivery of its first Airbus A350-900. The aircraft involved, HB-IHF (363) arrived at Zürich from Tarbes-Lourdes where it received some final touches before delivery.
In total, Edelweiss Air will take delivery of six A350-900s that will take the place of the current five A340-300s in the fleet. In the coming weeks the A350 will be used for crew trainings. Later, it will initially be deployed on flights to Las Vegas (NV) and Vancouver.
Next to the widebody Airbuses, the airline's fleet als consists of fourteen A320s.
