Emirates introduces revised livery

Emirates has on 16 March 2023 introduced a revised livery for its fleet. The first aircraft sporting the new livery is Airbus A380 A6-EOE (169), which will have its first commercial service in the new livery on 17 March 2023 to Munich.

The changes to the livery are a new design of the United Arab Emirates-flag, 32,5% larger and bolder titles as well as red winglets. Emirates current livery was introduced in 1999 and was updated by the red Emirates-branding under the belly of the aircraft in 2005. In the refreshed livery, this belly branding will remain as well.

The airline is planning to gradually repaint the fleet over the coming years and is expecting to have 24 aircraft in the new livery by the end of this year. According to the airline's press-release, seventeen of these will be Boeing B777s. Every new aircraft that will be delivered will be, of course, sporting the new image.
