EVA Air increases Airbus-orders
In a filing to the Taipei stock exchange, EVA Air has disclosed it has decided for firm options for Airbus-aircraft, increasing its open orders with the European manufacturer.
The airline has decided to firm options for three A321neos as well as for six A350-1000s. EVA now has a total of eighteen A321neos and 24 A350-1000s on order, which are scheduled to be delivered from 2027 onwards.
Next to its Airbus-orders, the airline has open orders with Boeing for eight B787-9s and five B787-10s.
Today, EVA Air's fleet is made-up of seven A321s, nine A330-300s, 33 B777-300ERs, nine B777Fs, five B787-9s, and twelve B787-10s.
