On 31 August, EVA Air announced it has reached an agreement with Boeing to reshuffle its remaining backlog of fifteen B787-10s. To reflect the current decline in passenger demand and increase in cargo demand, the airline has changed seven of the B787-10s on order into an order for three B777Fs and four B787-9s. No delivery date has been mentioned in the press statement.

Currently EVA Air already operates five B777Fs, four B787-9s and five B787-10s.
