Flybondi places orders for new aircraft
In June 2025, Argentinian carrier Flybondi got a new majority shareholder in the form of Miami-based COC Global Enterprise. Now, this new owner is driving a large investment in the airline to expand its fleet with up to 35 new aircraft.
According to the airline's press-release of 2 December 2025, the airline is ordering fifteen Airbus A220-300s, with options on another five, and ten Boeing B737-10s, with also options on another five. Deliveries of the A220s are scheduled between 2027 and 2029, while the B737-10s are expected between 2027 and 2030.
Ultra low-cost carrier Flybondi was founded in 2016 and launched operations in 2018. It currently has a fleet that is made-up of fourteen B737-800s.
