"Just a nice Picture...!"

The spotters at Dublin were quite happy on 28 October as two DHC-8-400s for Ethiopian Airlines visited their airport on the way on delivery from Canada to Ethiopia. And as the sun was also shining, it made for a good day out.

First to arrive was ET-AXX at 11:12hrs local time, followed by ET-AXY six minutes later. Both arrived from Keflavik and departed to Rome-Fiumicino an hour later.

The delivery marks a milestone for the airline as one of the planes is the 30th DHC-8-400 to be delivered to Ethiopian Airlines. There are, however, currently 29 in the fleet as one (ET-ANY) was written-off at Dire Dawa in Ethiopia on 24 October 2016, when it struck wild boar on the runway during take-off.

Anyhow, Bernard Mac Namara was present at Dublin and took this picture of ET-AXX with an interesting nose-down attitude.
