More H145s for French SAF group

The French S.A.F. Group has ordered another three Airbus H145 helicopters. S.A.F, which is short for Service Aérien Français SA, is active in the field of Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS), Aerial transport, Passenger transport and Maintenance.

Originally founded in the Seventies as Hélicap, the S.A.F. Group has expanded into a company that owns 55 helicopters, all of these of Airbus origin.

The three new H145s are of the latest five bladed version of this helicopter type. They will be based in Grenoble, Valence, and Montpellier.

The new trio will supplement another three H145s that were ordered last year. One H145 of the 2020 order will soon starts its operations in the HEMS role in Belgium. The Airbus photo shows a future S.A.F. H145 with temporary registration D-HBTB (msn 21020)
