New Swedish start-up: Northern Airlines

Northern Airlines, a start-up in Sweden, has announced on its Instagram and LinkedIn-page it aims to launch operations in March. The airline, which plans to be a full-service carrier, is planning to initially fly from Stockholm-Arlanda to Beirut and Malaga with a B737-800.

The airline, which was officially founded in 2019, has the goal "to establish an international carrier transporting passengers and cargo from all corners of the world". According to its statement, the B737-800 will be fully refurbished "to increase the joy of your safe travel".

Once up and running, Northern Airlines plans to add more destinations and hopes to operate three B737-800s by the end of 2021. It's currently unknown where there first aircraft is coming from and when it will be delivered.
