Silver Airways ceases operations
On 11 June 2025, Silver Airways announced it has ceased all operations and is filing for bankruptcy. With that, the airline is ending its fourteen year run. The last flight flown was 3M56, flying from Tampa (FL) to Fort Lauderdale-International (FL), and operated by ATR72-600 N706SV (1185), which landed close to midnight on 10 June 2025.
Last December, Silver Airways already filed for Chapter 11, the bankruptcy protection process in the United States. Unfortunately, it wasn't able to attract new investors.
On the day of the bankruptcy, Silver Airways' fleet was made-up of three ATR42-300s and four ATR72-600s.
