Smartwings becomes second European airline to resume MAX-flights

On 25 February, Smartwings became the second airline (after TUI Belgium) in Europe to resume flights with the B737MAX with a flight from Prague to Malaga. The flight was carried out by OK-SWE (64937), which was delivered to the airline on 20 June 2018.

Smartwings has so far taken delivery of seven B737-8s and has 32 further on order. In total, it's fleet consists at the moment of 35 B737s; two B737-700s, 24 B737-800s and two B737-900ERs and then of course the MAXs.
