UNI Air orders new ATR72s

On 10 June 2025, ATR announced it has received its largest order since 2017. The order was placed by UNI Air, the domestic subsidiary of EVA Air. In total, the airline has ordered nineteen ATR72-600s, with purchase rights for another three. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2027 and run until 2032.

UNI Air, founded in 1988, and having its main base at Taipei-Songshan, is currently operating a fleet of fourteen ATR72-600s. In the past the airline also operated jet aircraft and acting as EVA Air's low-cost subsidiary.
