Even 40 jaar terug.

The Beatles komen met de White Album.

Eerste nummer op de dubbel LP is Back in the USSR

Flew in from Miami Beach BOAC
Didn`t get to bed last night.

Maar dan komt het .De plaat begint met een rommelig aanvliegend toestel. Tijdens de song komt dat toestel door de muziek heenvliegen. Aan het eind een beroerde landing. Het remmen van het toestel gaat over in de het nummer Dear Prudence. Een prachtig nummer maar dat is weer een heel ander verhaal. Iedereen heeft het altijd over een jet engine. Maar volgens mij is het geluid van het vliegtuig een propeller of turboprop. Wat voor toestel is het? 1968 Ik denk aan een Britannia, Vanguard of Viscount. Of is het toch een VC-10, DC-8, 707............?

Wie weet het antwoord?

Denk ook aan The Boxtops met The letter.

Learn to fly-Foo Fighters al genoemd is de leukste clip en tevens geweldig nummer.
Daarin een Boeing 727.

The Beatles hadden in 1967 ook nog een instrumentaal nummer op de LP Magical Mystery Tour: Flying.

In 1964-1966 hadden ze tijdens hun tournee´s in The USA hun eigen vliegtuig. Een van American Flyers Airline gehuurde Lockheed Electra of Constellation. Geweldig toch. Toen heel gewoon.

O ja ik ben een Beatlesfan maar dat had je al door.
The Beatles is een DC-8
Coldplay een Airbus 320.
Ik bedoel maar.

hoorde net back in the ussr op de radio....

leuk dit onderwerp terug te zien, maar ik jullie tevens uitdagen om voort te bouwen op dat beatlesnummer met de volgende vraag.

In welke nummer / welke platen horen we vliegtuigen, net zoals in dit beatlesnummer?

een hint voor de aftrap:
Een wereldband met een albumnummer met UH-1 geluiden.....
Hoera d'revolutie, 't is eindelijk zover', maar de nwe leiders blijken net zo autoritair

Nu even mijn muziekbibliotheek niet bij de hand om een voorzetje te geven, maar er komt er zeker eentje van mijn hand.

Vinyltijdperk....komt me totaal niet bekend voor :lol: FY '84 :wink:

hint 1a: album uit het vinyl tijdperk.
