je snapt natuurlijk dat we op iets meer dan dat soort weer plaatjes plannen en door vliegen..
almaty is nogal veraderlijk lees veranderlijk kwa weer..
de eerste almaty met een a330 stond al meteen in Bishkek aan de grond

KLM 747 returns to Schiphol?

Fifteen minutes ago I noticed a KLM Boeing 747 overflying the northern part of Friesland. The plane headed southwest towards Schiphol and maintained an altitude somewhere between 1500 and 2500 metres (my guess). Does anyone have more information about this flight?

About 15 minutes ago it was flying overhead Leeuwarden at the same altitude and turning to the West.

Friesland is of course beautiful from the air. :wink:

Maybe the crew favoured some low altitude sightseeing.

You mean forum in stead of topic, right? Where does my question belong according to you? I have lived in Dokkum for many years now and low flying 747s are very rare here. The Civil Message Board seems the right place for this subject to me.

LEEUWARDEN - De Leeuwarder vliegbasis is vanmorgen platgebeld over een laagvliegende Boeing 747-400 van de KLM.


De Jumbojet was bezig met een testvlucht op 1500 meter hoogte en vloog over Hallum en Sint Annaparochie richting de waddeneilanden. Veel mensen schrokken van het toestel en belden in paniek naar het militaire vliegveld. Majoor Erik Sikkens: ,,Het is geen kist van ons en hij vloog op de in Nederland minimaal toegestane vlieghoogte van 5000 voet. We leggen dat de bellers netjes uit.''

Journalisten houden wel van een beetje overdrijven. Het toestel vloog heel rustig voorbij. Ik kan me voorstellen dat mensen zich afvragen waarom een vliegtuig zo laag vliegt, maar dat ze gelijk in paniek raken lijkt me een beetje overdreven.
