M-buffer

Post by theo »

The M-buffer is the platform directly in front on Hangar 10 (the 737 maintenance hangar of KLM).
The two helicopters are only visible from the restricted technical area at Schiphol East.

Not completely true, they were easy visible from the McDonalds parking place. From here you have a good view over that particular area. Of course you do need a good pair of binoculars and the distance is too far to read them off.

At 09.00 the 5 Sea King's were still there, no action around it.
CS-DRS was in the way to take a decent picture from the fence left to the DDA building.

Keep you updated!

Update:

XZ654 Lynx AH7 847sq Army titles
XZ641 Lynx AH7 847sq (A)RM(Y) titles

ZD626/S Sea King HC4 846sq
ZF122/L Sea King HC4 846sq
ZA291/N Sea King HC4 846sq
ZD476/I Sea King HC4 846sq
ZD627/R Sea King HC4 846sq

The ZD476 was seen on 9-1-2007 at De Kooy without code, see http://www.sgdk.nl/2007/ZF122_seaking_HC-4klein.jpg so this was added during the exercise. The code was visible on the nose and at a small panel at the right side below the cockpit and in front of the gear.
