En ik neem aan dat de KL591 de volgende dag gewoon weer weg ging?

Inderdaad. De KL591 is vandaag om 1006 vertrokken. (Vanmorgen is ook netjes volgens het tijdschema de KL592 aangekomen, PH-BFD)

De kist wordt nu 9 januari 2008 om 1100C op Schiphol verwacht

The Air France KLM Boeing 747 had to return to OR Tambo International Airport in southern Africa because the aircraft experienced problems with the left engine. Two days before, the aircraft had a routine maintenance check and a week before had undergone the FAA 600-hour inspection. According to KLM, it is their policy to conduct maintenance checks after each landing. The engine was flown to Amsterdam for investigation; a report will be given to Dutch Aviation Authority (the aircraft was Amsterdam-bound) and South African Civil Aviation Authority. All 419 passengers and crew on board landed safely.
