According to the info on belgianairforcedays (praktische info) the N748 (approach 05) and N747 roads (between Kleine Brogel and Zavelstraat) will be closed. No mention there of the spotters corner at the 23 end, but this was indeed a fiercely debated issue with the police in the past...

Some time ago there was a rumour that the airshow (static) will see a different layout. The static display was expected to be on a different place/location on the base. Don't know if that still is the case or not. I think that is what falcon1 meant.

Don't count on it. The only thing is that they have enlarged the platform on the left hand side (where normally the C130s are parked). This is already done in preparation of the arrival of the (much) larger A400Ms. This was tested when we had two Turkish A400Ms on base a few weeks ago.

Hallo all,

There where posts that the static was not on the parallel runway this year but only on the southern platform.

Civil A400 will be on static

With about 27 aircraft in the static (including an A400 and AWACS) this seems to be a very unlikely setup !
