Question for everyone.

I was just curious as to how often does Bulgaria have an air show? I didn't see any for 2018 so I'm just curious.

Hello,
There no planed airshow for 2018. Don't expect any at least for 3-4 more years. Simply no organization wich can do it. Air Force are in really bad shape, this time is really bad. Also the comander in chief of Air Force is very diferent from the previos one. So all bases are closed for photographer, especaly for foring ones. Just very bad period wll pass, but who know how and when.

The Bulgarian Air Force announced four air bases will be open next week:

9oct Graf Ignatievo 10-13h
11oct Dolna Mitropolija 13-15h
12oct Bezmer 09:30-15h
12oct Sofija 10:00-14:00h

Static displays and regular (planned) flight ops, whatever that means....
