According to the
Dutch Airforce site next year the Luchtmachtdagen will be back at Volkel, at June 14th and 15th.
In 2019 zijn de Luchtmachtdagen op 14 en 15 juni, op Vliegbasis Volkel. Tijdens deze dagen ziet u onder meer demonstraties met Nederlandse en buitenlandse vliegtuigen en een static show met vliegtuigen op de grond. Zoals altijd is het evenement gratis toegankelijk voor jong en oud.

Thinking of going to this next year anybody recommend any Bed and Breakfasts at Volkel or close by ?

I'm really hoped for Gilze again but better then nothing ! Did i get it right it will be an Against the Sun Show ?

Yeah i know but the show ground would likely be on the apron site ? or will they do all the satic on the smaller Runway ?

Static is always on the small runway 24L-06R, public in the grass between runway and treeline

Hi Guys thanks for recommendations I never got that hotel it was fully booked :(I managed to book a hotel in Uden, the name of hotel is Verhoeven not too far away, have any of u guys stayed there before ?how far from base is this is it walking distance ?

If you take Google Earth you will see that it is 5.4km in a straight line to the airshow gate.
For the benefit of Mr. Kite, there will be a show tonight on trampoline
