OSTRAVA NATO DAYS

Post by heute »

Hi, has anyone been there for the arrival days in the past? Is it possible to spot/take pics from the outside on the Friday?

On Saturday, exactly after ten years, one of these B-52s will perform a flying display over the Mošnov airport, and the other will be on a static display throughout the whole event. On a static display will the U.S. Air Force also send a KC-135 refuelling aircraft.

a good reason to go to this show :D

South side outside the fence is fine, north is more remote I believe. There may be options from the terminal. With some effort, you can also get rather close to the display line at the west side, sun in your back. The display line is perpendicular to the runway.

Happy hunting,

Cujo thanks for your updates.
The 7th F-5 is the J-3092 as I mentioned earlier.
As far as I can see the only thing missing is the confirmation of Finnish Casa 295 CC3, anybody??

ADS-B says CC3 was in Ostrava from 15 till 19 September. The other candidate, CC-2 was (according ADS-B) flying local missions in and around Finland in the same timeframe.
