Japan Airshow dates 2008

Hiya all,

in the process of planning a little trip to Asia for 2008 I searched the internet for Japanese airshows for 2008, with little or no result. Can anyone provide me with dates/fields pls ?

The Ministry of Defence Japan will release the official schedules by the end of March. Wait for a moment!

Sometimes you can find some schedules faster than the official site at the AIRock's site or the local city hall's site. (Japanese only)

You can see helis. but counter light!

May 18 JASDF Shizuhama(Shizuoka pref.),
50th anniversary OH, FLT B.I., F-15, RF-4E etc..
Good light from the car parking side.

Jun 8 JGSDF Camp Asahikawa(Hokkaido)
3 to 5 helis fly-by and some air support demo.

Aug. 24 JASDF Matsushima(Miyagi pref.)

Sep. 28 JGSDF Kasuminome(Miyagi pref.)

Oct. 26 Military Review for the air power at JASDF Hyakuri
(Invited guest only. Usually they will have a rehearsal
one week before, namely on Oct.19 this year)

Dec.14 JASDF Naha (On request, Not confirmed yet)
(Perhaps it is the last chance to see F-4EJ-kais of 302sqn.
at Naha. They will move to Hyakuri)

I got a private message asked what the Military Review at Hyakuri is.

Well, please see the "Airshow report" section, "Hyakuri 2005".
It will be almost same attendance this year.(Sure, no F-1/T-1/T-2/T-3s)

(Remote show, Usually T/O from and L/D at Iruma A.B.. In the late afternoon, they will RTB to Matsushima. )

Apparently, there will be a 50th anniversary airshow at Miho in May. Three aircraft will have a special paint job:
