Well, the same page also says "Teilnahme noch nicht bestätigt!".

That roughly translates to "Participation not yet confirmed".

So we'll just have to wait and see.

According to the message at:

http://www.scramble.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?t=40942" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

4 Harriers are expected (instead of 1).

23-04-2008 :F-104Gs FX69 and FX70 arrived in Weeze

Today the F-104Gs FX69 and FX70 (owned by IFS Johan Bringmans) arrived at their new home in Niederrhein Airport (Weeze).
Any idea if these will be on display?

Thanks,

Koen

Where do you see these mentioned if I may ask? I only see the two other F-104's mentioned:
1x F-104G "KG101" Static/Preserved
1x F-104G ''FX-52" Static/Preserved

There was only one Typhoon at the airshow at Airport Weeze (Niederrhein). This Typhoon was parked at the flightline.

The Battle of Britain Memomorial Flight (BoBMF) couldn't come because of the bad weather. The BoBMF is expected tomorrow.

Was there today, have taken some nice pics of the FX-52 when it was being rolled outside of its hangar.
Also, people were be able to go anywhere, even under or even on the Aircrafts, even the Harriers and in/on top of the hangars.
The area's of the static aircraft is a bit rare compared to our own airshows, here they were set infront of different hangars acros the area, we needed some searching to find them all  . This has something nice to it to. Worth to note is the OV-10 Bronco that performed a nice display.

Hi,

According to one of the Harrier pilots they are leaving today due operational reasons. He told me that their boss arranged their visit with 4 aircraft to Weeze... The pilot I spoke with was based at Laarbruch for a couple of years untill 1999.
