Well... JAS 39 Gripen was added today! :D

Due to drastic budget restraints, this will be one (actually, two) of very few displays of the Swedish Air Force in 2008.

Several other non-historical aicraft: HKP 9 (BO 109), Police heli (EC 135) ambulance and SAR heli (S-76), Coast Guard (Dash), modern GA planes (DA-40, DA-42 etc)...

Coast Guard (Dash)

You mean they are showing their new aircraft, not the Casas anymore?
How far is Kustbevakningen with the introduction of the Dash aircrafts? Last time I was at Skavsta (half febr.) I still did only see those Casas...

Tack så mycket!
http://WWW.FVPHOTO.NL/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; --- Check out my photos of this spotting season on my website!

I'd rather depict atmosphere and the 'heat of the moment' making a catchy photo than to reflect the real situation and real colours showing a boring photo.

Any chance of a Swedish military airshow in 2009 Daniel? Or is it early days yet?
Pity this year's edition was scrapped... :(

Flygvapnet_Viggen: The new Dash is to be introduced in May. Hopefully both the CASA and Dash will be at Göteborg Aero Show.

Stratofreighter: It's too early to say, but I wouldn't count on it. Perhaps we will only see the big military shows every five (anniversary) year in the future...? :?

It is now confirmed that the Swedish Air Force Historic Flight intend to participate at the Göteborg Aero Show with both the SAAB J 35 Draken and the SAAB J 32 Lansen (perhaps even two!).

Don't miss this!

Hej Rune, This year the focus is on national Swedish participants. The only exception is Dakota Norway – but that’s just barely abroad

The participant’s list is almost complete now, see: http://www.aeroseum.se

Göteborg Aero Show is the primary airshow of the Swedish Air Force in 2008.
