Anyway, we're both on the list so Witmund - here we come !!
Same here, the letter is universal, but the names are supposed to be on a list, so you cannot exchange the emails.

"Main info:
following a/c will be present:
the special c/s of JG 71 “R “, the old one from the JG 73 and one from the WTD in Manching. Also an armed phantom is presented, as well as an A-4 Skyhawk of BAE Flight systems (I hope the camo one)
Also the preserved F-104/F-86/Me-109 can be seen.
In the midday there will be also flying."

No additional info found yet...

@Stratofreighter, see my mail at page 1 for the static, no news about any flying programme, but maybe a flyby like at Neuburg, and maybe an early afternoon mission. Spottersday is from 10-13.30. I asked for an update on ff.de

Polleke: The news from Wittmund reads a f-4 from JG73. to my oppinon it will be the black widow 37+11 from JG72. The black one from former JG73 is no more in that scheme for a long time. And I can confirm there will be a PHLY-By of the JG71,WTD-61 and ex JG74 rhino.

Not much officially known yet, but the ex Hopsten's Black Widow is parked/displayed at Wittmund so I'm pretty sure we get to picture her. And the word is indeed that special paints from JG74 and WTD61 will be there, plus the old JG71 relics, an armed F-4 and a BAE A-4.
Today however, JG-71 is to release an overview of what is to come, so we'd better wait for that before making too many assumptions...

Hi,

As the spottersday is held because of the 50th birthday of the phaboulous Phantom :D I still hope some nice german Tornado's show up. This year many Tornado units have special paints:

JBG-31 [Norvenich]
JBG-32 [Lechfeld, one tiger c/s and one 50 year JBG-32 c/s]
JBG-33 [Buchel]

Next to that maybe some nice Greek and Turkisch F-4's can show up. I have seen pictures of nice Greek Phantoms with special c/s to celebrate 50 years of spooks. I know this is wishfull thinking but you can always dream... .

Grtz,

Edward.

Who cares about extra participants if you get to see this! Hell, I'd settle for normal Phantoms anyday!
