Hi all,
Kleine Brogel airbase organizes a limited photo session for a select number of people, with the possibility to take pictures at close range of the aircraft with Jordanian markings
.

Limited: Does this mean you have to write a letter or e-mail to KeeBee to attend?

How many people are welcome?

Any answer is welcome.

Gtrz,

Edward.

I think they mean with limited that there isn't much to see on base.
I THINK that they will put the F-16's on a line to photograph and that's it.

other Jordanian Falcons are simple grey with the colored roundel on the fuselage and wings, and the flag on the tail and of course a serial.

Hi,

IMPORTANT
Please take note that there is a change in timing for the departure of the RJAF F-16's from Kleine Brogel on September 10th.
Timing is now:
Gates open at 07h00L -
Power-on F-16s RJAF at 08h00L -
Take-off at 08h30L -
End of activities at 09h00L

As to the question on how they fly to Jordan; simply with the help of several air-to-air refuelling rendezvous. Unfortunately, I don't know by which tankers. Will try to find out asap.

Best regards,

Daniel Brackx

hi Daniel,

Do you know how these F-16's are positioned? They will leave early and the sun rises in the east. If they are on the flightline near the maintenance hangar the sun will be in your face. This will also be the case when you will be positioned along the taxiway from platform maintenance hangar towards the runway.

I hope you are be able to shine a light on this?

Thanks in advance for some answers.

Edward.

Hi Edward,

I know that early morning conditions for photographing at Kleine Brogel are not ideal but we can't rotate the base.
Let's hope and pray that there is some sunshine at least.

I think that a lot of last minute improvisation could be possible if the group of photographers remains small and managable which considering the early hour could be a reality.

Best regards,

Hello Daniel,

thanks for the quick reply.

You are completely right. Lets hope the group of photographers will be small so some improvisation is possible. Also let there be sunshine. Long term predictions look promising :D .

.. or perhaps it is possible to put the aviation photogaphers on the east side of the taxiway in stead of the west side. I mean the taxiway between maintenance hangar and runway? Just an idea (improvisation).

I think the photographers who will show up will have a nice few hours. I think for most of them it will be the only time to see and photograph four Jordanian Vipers.

Greetz,

Edward.

In the time of sold Dutch F-16s to Chile there were testflights before the delivery flight. Will the a/c be painted in their new c/s in advance, so for the people who can't make it it is possible to shoot them from outside the base?

I'll def. try to be there on wednessday.

Hi EOS,

This is normal because the change of identity will be applied only on Monday. So with a bit of luck on Tuesday....
