1)CH-47, T-7, C-1 and B.I.s will come from Iruma A.B. and they will T/O about

2)F-15 and UH-60 will come from Hyakuri A.B..
3)Blue Impulse will arrive at Iruma A.B. from Matsushima A.B. on 4 Apr. about 0900-1000am.
They will leave at Iruma about 1500-1530pm on 5 Apr..

13-17 Apr. T-4 Taxing in front of the museum
15 Apr. F-2 of the 1st TS static display

One news;
KV-107 04-4852 made her last flight to go to Nyutabaru A.B.. on Apr.13.
The last KV-107(S/N?) will retire on October 2009 and the museum will held a
small open ceremony.

(Chibikko-Yangu-Taikai, means O.H. for the children and young people. Sure, Adults can enter.) .
Open 1000-1600(Enter by 1500).
No car park.
Walk 15 min. from Yamato Sta.(Odakyu-Line from Shinjuku or Sagami-Tetsudo-Line from Yokohama).
There is a possibility that you can see the XP-1.
No flight-demo(maybe).
A few CVW-5 a/cs will attend as the static display.

I leave currently in HKG and am considering attending. Can you confirm that is on May 5th (why a Tuesday ?) ?
Would you have recommendation re the accommodation around there ? Hiroshima ?

Any other special show I should absolutely attend ?

I am French and absolutely not familiar with Japan ...

May 5th is the national holiday in Japan.
We also have holidays on Apr.29, May 4th and May 6th.
There will be a big civil festival at Hirosima from may 3 to 5, so I think it will be difficult
to find a hotel in a nice price(4,500-9,000 yen/night) around Hiroshima...
When you cannnot find out the room , please check at around Kure-city or Tokuyama-city.
It will take about 1-1.5 Hrs from Iwakuni by train.

There will be no other airshows in Japan from May 1st to 6th.

FAQ for the JSDF airshow (which is held on Sunday):
The visiter a/cs usually come on Friday morning.
The B.I. usually have their rehearsal flt. on Saturday morning.
The visiter a/cs usually leave the base on Sunday afternoon, about 1400-1600pm.
There will be no flt. or quite less flt. on Monday.
