Post by Felle »

Don't know if there is(was) already a topic about this airshow anyway the Polish Iskra team will be there according to their site. http://bialoczerwoneiskry.eu/kalendarz.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hello,
I'm going to visit this airshow. I have a few question:
1) is there a program of this event?
2) Will tickets be available in cashier’s window in airshowdays?
3) 10Euro cost 1 day or 2 days ?
4) What time the airbase is opened ?

Thank You very much for Your help
Best regards!

there will probably be a program for the event (timetable) but i think this will be given out on the airshowdates itself.

There is already a participants list available through the website Civil here and Military here

Tickets will propably be available at the entrance of the airbase and will cost 10 euro for 1 day...

airbase is open from 10 in the morning till 6 in the afternoon/evening...

Is deze show de moeite van drie uur sturen waard. Ik be er nog nooit geweest maar ben van plan om er zondag heen te gaan. Kan iemand mij een advies geven?

Hard to say if it is worth making the trip.
You will have to look at the participants list, in order to make that choice. Isn't it ?

However (personally) i think this show might be more interesting to visit than the shows from the last few years. That is when everything shows up.
I'm thinking of going there on Saturday, program looks more interesting than.

Please keep in mind that Rock Werchter festival is also in the west part of Vlaanderen from 2nd untill 5th of July. So you could might expect a large traffic jam on the way back (most likely on Sunday the 5th), even more if it is a warm and sunny beachday.

But Werchter is located near Leuven (east of Brussels) so I guess we only meet that traffic somewhere around Antwerpen. Can't imagine it will be worse than the regular weekday traffic? Also, the program at Werchter ends at 1:30 (at night). I hope to be home by that time!

Nope...

No info so far. Only arrivals seem to be the Royal Jordanian Falcons.
Heard none info regarding expectations is to be posted on the forum ! Don't know if that's true however.
Well see....
I'm thinking of going there on Friday instead of during the weekend.

Indeed, please put all ETA/ETD info there, (and catch some soon-to-be-Israeli bonusses)

Next to the cancellation of the RAF Merlin , NethAF Lynx, and NATO AWACS, now we can also add the GermanAF SeaKing.

Taken from http://www.airshows.be/viewtopic.php?p=63897#p63897" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; :
Hello Guys,

For everyone that want to visit the arrivals tomorrow, please take note of this:

All roads leading to the fence next to RWY29 are blocked totally. So you can not come close to the runway as previous years. There is also military personal that guards the roads so you can not enter them I don't know why they do that now, but this was the situation today. I hope they will be more flexible tomorrow and let the people pass at least by foot...

See you tomorrow

Still, today photos like those at http://www.airshows.be/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=7007" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; could apparently be made...
