As all serials were read off from photos confirmation may be needed.

Have these been read off from 2011 ( Zeltweg ) season photos ?

Since these have been noted active end of September 2010 ;

MM54538/10
MM54485/5
MM54482/4
MM54473/3
MM55052/6
MM54551/1
MM54480/2

Read off from photos. Thanks so far !

Regards, Rene
They don't have just one aircraft with a certain number on the tail, so a tie up with the number on the tail can't be considered correct without any further confirmation. The number of aircraft at their disposal outnumbers the number of aircraft they take with them to a show by about a factor 2. Then still, the number on the tail (and corresponding name of the pilot) can be changed between any two shows (for example to make up for maintenance-issues/requirements during the airshow season).

So the last missing Freece Tricolori a/c is the spare #0. Any ideas?
When talking about spare a/c how about the Patrouille Suisse spare F-5E?

just remembered that 1 single Frecce aircraft left earlier then the rest on Monday.
checked my pics, and yes it was the spare with code 0
nosewheel door says 539 so that must make it mm54539/0
Database gives MB339A/PAN (MLU) so that should ty-up all aircraft

@Peter:
Thanks for filling the gap with MM54539/0.
The Patrouille Suisse spare a/c was J-3086.

8806 had the birdstrike on the Friday, judgeing by the blood on its nose. On Saturday, I shot 8811 on the ramp. Both did not fly on the Saturday.

Hi all,

It took a while but finally managed to get to the administration part of the airshow.... Got nearly all serials here but what I miss is a French Alpha Jet which was parked at the flightline, anyone got its registration?

In the museum was a partly stripped Saab J35, it had on its left wing a 1 and on the left side of the tail was 03, it is clear that this is going to be a composite aircraft, but anyone an idea of it's original registration?

I browsed through all the posts here and have a correction
see some notes

Hello,

I saw a Police AS.350 (newest colors) flying in the background on friday, around 10:40AM. Anyone spotted that one and knows the regi?

I have a photo taken at 07:50 which is at a bad angle (tail-on) but shows an AS350 in newest colours, flying around behind the crowd. It appears to be OE-BXX. It could be BXK but as far as I can see, BXK is in a slightly different scheme.

Thanks PIK FLyer, from my picture the scheme looks like the OE-BXX, so I think we have a match.
If anyone can confirm this?

OE-BXX was reported at the show, in the morning of Friday it was in the field with 5D-HF, 3E-KU/KR/KS & 6M-BB.

There were 2 French Alphajets: E148/705-LU in normal grey & E107/F-TEUD in a special scheme.

Stripped Draken in museum is supposed to be 12.

Unidentified High Wing Monoplane

One last Zeltweg request from me (civil I think, so look away now miltary purists!)

At the end of one of the lines of flying display aircraft (French Alphajets, C-27J, T-6) facing the main crowd area at Zeltweg was a (?)civil, blue & white, single engined, high wing aircraft with curved wingtips & a (?)radar pod under the starboard wing. Did anyone of you recognise or identify it, or perhaps have it in the background of one of your photos, please? I would appreciate knowing at least the type if not the registration of it.

Thanks!
