...and to answer my own question: the Canon Servicedesk is unaware of any Canon Mediaviewer :?: So the introduction date of the M30/M80 is probably not early 2007...

Anyone already have some experience the the 80 Gig version?

Today while buying the canon 40-D camera, I held the m-30 mediaviewer from canon in my hand , and I can say it feels very good and nicely made.
Planning to buy one in the future (80 gig version).
Will do a little review when I get one....
