Basevisit at Randolph A.F.B. with the 435th FTS

Post by MyOneOFour »

We had a Basetour at Randolph A.F.B. last Thursday. Many thankx go out to Laurens for making this possible. Laurens you rule !!
And Major "Teflon", IP T-38C 435th FTS "Black Eagles".
Here are the results:

In the morning we first went to Lackland A.F.B. We scored eight "SA" F-16's that were flying. After that we did some photographing during the recovery of the T-6's belonging to the 559th FTS at Randolph. Many Texans could be photographed.

After that we got on base:

And we took a quick look at the flightline of the 559th but we had some serious backlight:

I hope you enjoyed the pics.

Cheers, Michael

Wow, polishing to the extreme.
How many hours per day do they spend on cleaning those aircraft?
Great sight to see!
