USA trip Part III Red Flag 14-1

Post by joan le poole »

Hello all,

Finally I found some time to show you some images taken at Nellis AFB during Red Flag 14-1. We have been there at Monday and Tuesday, February 3 and 4.

Monday had the best light conditions but Tuesday the mission was bigger, so we scored some additional aircraft.

1. Let's kick of with the Thunderbirds.

2. I scored several new (flying) aircraft types, like the F-15

3. I only had one flying Tornado GR4 in my live.

4. New to me was the Australian Air Force as well.

5. Light conditions were not that good at Tuesday. However, this is a nice aircraft.

6. This is a nice experience :)

9. This US Army heli crossed above us.

10. New to me was the B-2 stealth bomber

11. And the F-22 Raptor

13. I have seen my first Growlers

14. Awesome light :)

15. The difference in size between the F-15 and F-16

16. And a final image

More will been uploaded to our website soon.

Thanks for watching. Part IV will show some images taken during our stay at Luke AFB.

Thanks for the compliments.
@Sowald: these pictures are all taken off base at the location called The Speedway. Drive down the Las Vegas Blvd north bound. When you passed the base the Las Vegas Motor Speedway appears on your left side. Park on the left side of the way, and enjoy !
