Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

CDG-LBG 05/06/2014 Government-Military

Post by Bruno »

Yesterday was a big day all around Paris airports!
Because of D-Day ceremony in Normandy, there were a lot of arrivals in those three airports! But I had a choice to do.
So in the morning I was at LBG for Australian and US arrival. Sadly in early morning the light wasn't perfect...

Then, it was time to go to CDG to catch some other birds

But the real interest was the "russian invasion"! No less than five planes

And finally when the light was just as you want 8)

Did all the planes leave already? If not does any one know what is still present?

Most are departing or have already left.
RA-64521 left CDG 5 min ago and departed west at 12.000ft. So most probably to Bretagne to pick up someone?
RA-64517 is now over mid Germany.
RA-64524 is over Southern Denmark.
RA-96018 is over Belarus.

Interesting to see the USAF sent the C-37A tailnumber: 1944.

Hello
The US Army have 3 C-37B
With tail numbers:
1778
1863
1944
Years referring to major battles
And no I don’t think sending 1944 is a coincidence.
