4Aviation tour to Jordan - H5

Post by Arnold ten Pas »

Hi,

Later in the week we also visited H5. When I was here in 2000, the F-5 was the backbone of the advanced flying training. Nowadays, just a handful F-5s remain and are to be sold of to a civil company very shortly. Not published before was the acquisition of a number of Hawks, replacing the F-5. Luckily, the RJAF was willing to fly one of the remaining F-5s for us. A great day out!

5. As we did not had the best opportunities at El Azraq, a friend arranged some F-16 fly-bys at H5.

A truly unique opportunity to see those planes. Very nice shots. Hope to see more in the future.
