Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Don't forget to have a look at the Academy at the uppersite of the museum, with the following planes:

F86: 1232/30892, 1214/30677, 5022/1315

At a roundabout, 100m left of the museum, there is F86: 5112

That is correct ! but a lot of planes are preserved around Don Muang !
I was lucky to enter Don Muang and drive around to catch these preserved birds as well :-)

How did you managed that? I would give my left ball to be able to drive around once to collect stored birds at DMK.

I wanted to ask exactly the same. I have tried that twice, but didn't succeed. Was accompanied by Thai friend, so language was not the barrier.

I had some written correspondence with 6 Wing and these letters apparently allowed me to enter base... and a bunch of luck of course :-)

Do you have pictures of other stuff from inside besides preserved birds? Since its not easy to get access, I'm pretty sure that a lot of folks would like to see the pictures.
