Strangely enough, if you have a base visit, you can take pictures of just about anything that moves..... or doesn't.PG wrote:There are plenty of locations around the base (to the north in the fields and to the south on the beach ) where you can sit and watch (and take photos) without any trouble, as long as there are no ground facilities visible from your spot.
Remember, in Greece you are not allowed to take pictures of objects on the ground, not of aircraft flyimng over your head, so if you keep at a reasonable distance from the fence there is no problem at all.
