A visit to the Portuguese Air Force museum at Sintra on Tuesday found these going out for some flying

Probably the Oldest Current Military in Europe(Chipmunks)? You'll find older current military aircraft at Coningsby. I'd say the oldest is P7350?

That's not active military. Just for show...... Meanwhile Hurricane is older!

All BBMF aircraft are military, granted they are not frontline aircraft, but they are still military, I have to say though that I was doubting if one of the Hurricanes was older, just not sure. That is why there is a "?" after that registration.

Spitfire P7350 is the oldest, f/f Aug40.
However it was sold to a civilian as scrap in 1948 and returned later to the RAF
