USA trip MIL South-West, March 2018 Part II

On Wednesday morning we noticed that the weather forecast for Nellis and the Rainbow canyon wasn’t that sunny as you would expected for that area and of course we hoped for. So we changed our schedule a little bit and began our tour towards Luke.
When we arrived at Luke we were very lucky that they changed the flying directions from the 03 to the perfect landing side 21.

What a lovely sunset. Around 17:00 26 F-16’s went airborne. Awesome!
The Next day it was time for Davis Monthan. Capturing the landing in the morning is always a bit challenging on the 30 side because of the sun. But on the other side that same spot on the 30 is just perfect in the afternoon.
