In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Exercise Epervier 2019

During the last two weeks of August the French Air Force's EC2 deployed six Mirage 2000-5F's to Payerne airbase for exercise Epervier 2019.
Below are some pictures shot during the last 2 days at various locations around the airbase.

Het zijn zeker prima foto's. Payerne was ooit een mooi open veld waar je op shelters kon staan en weinig omheind was met veel meer vliegactiviteiten als tegenwoordig. De afgelopen paar jaar veel verbouwd op Payerne waardoor veel van de mooie fotospots verloren zijn gegaan. Spijtig. Oude tijden zullen hier niet meer terug keren.

Ik moet zeggen dat de vliegactiviteiten me hier echt niet tegenvielen. Er werd door de fighters maar liefst 4 keer per dag een missie gevlogen waardoor er tussen 8 en 17u de hele dag (muv de middagpauze) activiteit was.
Ook helikopters en bezoekende toestellen waren voldoende aanwezig.
Daarnaast is er een goede nieuwe plek gekomen waar het merendeel van deze foto's ook is genomen.
