work brought me to Montreal and I gave myself a day extra for some spotting before work started.
I had never been spotting in Canada, so this visit gave me a good oppertunity to catch some Canadian stuff. Here's my selection of this day:
1. Government of Quebec CL-601 C-GQBQ taking off:

2. I think the new livery of Air Canada looks really good. Here's Air Canada Express CRJ900 C-GJZT:

3. Flights to Mexico are quite popular from Montreal. Next to several Canadian flying there, two Mexican airlines fly to YUL, like InterJet, here with A320 XA-ECO, which has special green lines in its livery:

4. Montreal is heavily used by Air Canada Rouge with A319s, A321s and B767s. Here is A319 C-GJVY taking off:

5. Still in the old livery is Air Canada Express CRJ200 C-GUJA:

6. When parked at the gate I thought this was an United B737-800, but it was much nicer; Copa B737-800 HP-1856CMP:

7. Air Creebec operates a fleet of mainly DHC-8s like this C-FCLU:

8. Air Canada Express DHC-8-300 C-GABO banking left after take-off from runway 24L:

9. Air Saint Pierre is an airline from the small island of St. Pierre in front of Canada and has a fleet consisting of this ATR42 F-OFSP:

10. The return-flight to Mexico by Aeromexico's B737-800 N957AM was cancelled when the plane went tech. Here seen while being towed to the hangars:

11. Definitely one of the highlights was this beautiful B737-200C C-GMAI from Air Inuit. What a noice and what a pretty livery!

12. Surprising to see GetJet here at Montreal. A319 LY-KIT was flying for Sunwing, subbing for their grounded B737MAX8s:

13. At YUL you mainly see the commuter sister companies from the main US-carriers like American Eagle, Delta Connection and United Express. Here's ERJ140 N812AE from American Eagle in the old livery, looking very worn:

14. A big surprise was the flight of Air Canada B737MAX8 C-GEJL, seen here departing to Val d'Or on a testflight:

15. Nice to catch this Trans States Airlines ERJ145 N836HK:

16. This B737-400C C-FFNC from First Air is an old KLM-plane:

17. Another Quebec Government CL-601 is this C-GURG, which is clearly being used as an air ambulance:

18. Just because they are so pretty; second Air Inuit B737-200C was this C-GSPW:

19. Qatar Airways operates two flights a day; one direct one from Doha with the B777-300ER like this A7-BAG, and one with an A330-200 via Barcelona:

20. Air Transat calls Montreal home and here's very new A321neoLR C-GOIE arriving back home from Basle:

21. Sunwing also operates some flights, but mainly with leased aircraft from carriers like GetJet. So, B737-800 C-FWGH was nice to photograph:

22. Sorry for the heatwaves, but it's not always I photograph a Falcon 20 freighter from Kalitta Charters:

23. WestJet doesn't have a very large operation at Montreal and flies mainly with DHC-8-400Qs and sometimes a B737. Here's C-GWEJ:

24. Catch them while you can; Air Transat A310-300ET C-GLAT:

25. This Air Canada Express DHC-8-300 C-FSOU is still flying in the Jazz Air-livery:

26. The only something bigger from WestJet that I was able to photograph this day was B737-700 C-FWSY:

27. Another local DHC-operator is Porter Airlines; here is DHC-8-400Q C-GLQZ:

28. And I end this selection with this Air Inuit DHC-8-300 C-FYAI. Unfortunately these didn't fly on this Sunday:

Hope you liked them. You can see all my pictures at: https://www.flickr.com/photos/lifeliner ... 750896552/
