Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Last month I was in Iran and was able to take a some photographs. This included some F-86s.

Unfortunately no serial could be found on this wreck in the neighbourhood of the museum at Teheran-Mehrabad (35°42'38.64"N 51°17'31.16"E)

Image

Same story on this one at the Technical College of Teheran (35°41'42.51"N 51°19'51.91"E)
Image
The Army camp at Shiraz has this gateguard (29°33'47.65"N 52°35'27.45"E). Unfortunately, this might be a fake serial

Wow, those planes look awful. No offense, but how can someone run a 'museum' like this? It hurts inside to see them in such bad shape :(

Not the best picture I have, but it was the first IL-76 I have seen being chopped to pieces. (ST-CAC at Fujaira last month)

Having seen my first Indian An-12 some time ago (see Triptease Scramble-1 (aka 06-24)) at the Delhi/Palam AFS museum I found another one, the BL727.

As the Tu-124 at Palam has been put in storage the only Tu-124 in India can now be found in the Zoo in Lucknow (26°50'41.43"N 80°57'15.97"E),
here obstructed by a very operational government VIP "Ambassador".

Interessante foto zeg !

Het juiste type is: Vultee BT-13A "Valiant". De ex AURI kist heeft trouwens een fake serial. De serials van de AURI BT-13A's liepen van B-601 t/m B-638.
