Markings - stencils on Viper's nose?

Post by Polleke_NL »

Gents,

Working on some Flightsim repaints and am looking for some good detailed (readable) pics of the markings and stenceling on KLu Vipers, especially of the nose section.
Would anyone be so kind to help me out ?

Thanks in advance

That hadn't caught my eye, but under the canopy it also says: USAF F-16A...

The black square with the orange border under the arrow is typical dutch, we have the only F-16's with this marking on it :!:

True, but USAF F-16s do have IFF 'bird slicer' antennas on the nose if that's what you're refering to.

Still strange that it says US Air Force F-16A under the canopy. Is this an old picture? Do we have any F-16AM's that used to be USAF F-16As? In that case it could be that this is a picture from just after we got it, cause I can't imagine they wouldn't spraypaint over that
