After worked for 1 hour today (couldn't resist to take the day off  ) I went to Gilze-Rijen for the F-16 demo and the arrival of the AN-124. Sadly the Antonov didn't make it to Gilze-Rijen (I think his fuel went low above Eindhoven :P ) but luckely there was plenty of flying activity of some Apaches, Chinooks and ofcourse the demo rehearsal of the F-16 (2x).
Let me start with some pictures from the homebased Apaches and Chinooks:

A really low fly-by of an Apache:

CH-47D Chinook:

Nose down to gain some speed:

Some heavy lifting:

AH-64D returning home:

And finally, some pictures of the F-16 Demo rehearsal, taken from the 'slopes' spot:

As usually, I hope you enjoy!
Comments for how to improve my pictures are always welcome!

Some from my side, not very stunning...

1. Saw this one being towed from the Chinook area, probably for the Antonov that never showed up:

2. Ralph in his element:

3. Mean machine:

4. Not the best pic, but only to show you guys; how low can you go!:

5. I like those Harvards, I really do:

6. And a close-up:

Yeah, you're absolutely right. I'll bring my gear this week to the store so they can clean it (again....). My autofocus wasn't even working properly today because of the dust on the sensor!

Dust on the sensor doesn't affect the working of the autofocus system. Dust on your (sub)mirror however can be a bit tricky.

Newsflash:
