Japan Tour 2009 - Day 13: Yokota + Shimofusa

on the last day of the mil part of the trip, it was scheduled to go to Yokota and Shimofusa. We learned that during the late afternoon of day 12 the 4 US Marines F/A-18D's flew to Yokota for onwards flying to North Japan. So those who missed them at Atsugi were lucky....

6 when the group left some of us were late (luckily I was almost everytime the last one to leave). This machine left for Kadena AB.

So after Yokota it was time to go to Shimofusa.

after this we went back to the Narita hotel and returned the cars. After diner it was time for me to say good bey and leave the next morning early for the second part of the trip.

Wow, like the shots of the Extender........a lot! You don't see those very often.

ALso saw your other posts. Looks like one hell of a trip!
