Also went to have a look at the Swiss Hornets today. Flying was okay considering the absence of some Phantoms to Deci of which 4 returned today. Here some impressions:

Hi all,

I also can add a few pictures to this topic as I visited Wittmund also on the 5th of August. Weather was good, In the morning I started at the east side of the airbase and ended at the west side of the base in the afternoon. Security inside the base was awake as they drove along the fence several times. I did not notice any police activity outside the airbase.

In total that day I noticed eight different swiss Hornets of which six I was be able to photograph. Phantoms were active until around 13.30 hour. In total I was be able to shoot eleven different Phantoms that day. I was very happy with the 37+03 as in June I was not be able to visit the spottersday. Skyhawks were active the whole day. Four different serials in total.

Some photo's of this nice day :D :

with the current spots at Wittmund to make some nice pictures :-)
