RAF Lakenheath (EGUL)

Post by Macc »

When I was down in England in the Summer I did some spotting at Lakenheath, four days worth in the end! The first two days had a lot of action and pretty good weather, the last two days had pretty good action and great weather.

I can knock up a few more if you want, I ended up taking about 2,000 overall in the four days.

Great shots! I also like the subtle Herc climbing out of Mildenhall in the far distance on pic # 3 ;-)

LN and the Hall *is* only a 6 hour drive away. Too bad there's a tunnel in between ;-) ($$$$)

1 question. Where did you take picture number 17? I probably know the spot at the beginning (where most pictures where taken), but don't know where it's possible to take pictures like this (wheels up already).

Kind regards,
Oscar

Some great shots :worship: :worship:
In some picture's i see a eagle with 00 in the tail code. Does this mean the plane is build is the year 2000 ?
If so i did not know there were eagle's of that young age.

Greetings Patrick.
