Question about GAF F-4's during Frisian Flag

Question about GAF F-4's during Frisian Flag

I noticed when processing my pictures that there was "somthing" a on top of the GAF G-4's fuselages during landing. I marked on the picture. Does anyone know what it is??

That is the air to air refueling door. its always opened during landing.

Perhaps it's automatic process caused by low speed.
Hadn't noticed it before. I'm gonna look at all my photos now


Indeed sometimes the refueling door is open during landing.
Sometimes it isn't
