ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Hi Marco,
This was the sole dual we saw this trip?
We saw two Gina duals. The other was in the storage at Alverca.

Hi Mark,
Nice pics  !!
Req.
Who can give me a log of Beja that day because I was there in the morning of September 1.
Thanks!

Grtx

Mark Verstraaten
Thanks for your nice words.
We were at Beja in the afternoon.
What did you see, perhaps I can help with your log?

Greetings,
Jurgen

Jurgen, very interesting note.... is this one to become military (or semi military) in Mozambique? Any identity of this aircraft?

Thanks.

It will be delivered to the military according to the personnel present. The one in the picture is former 13729. The other should be 13713.

It took me a couple of days, but as promised, here is the final instalment.

We visited the old Air Force museum at Alverca in the morning and then slowly drove to Beja.

The main gate is guarded by a couple of aircraft. An unmarked German F-104, a T-38A and this T-33A.
Image

Our first stop was the Esq552 with their Alouettes. Two were flying and several more were in the hangars.
Image

Then it was off to see some of our old P-3Cs.
Image

Next door are the Alpha Jets of Esq103. We received a warm welcome with this unit. Got some cold drinks and played with the simulator.
Image

Image

We concluded our tour by visiting one, of two, old P-3Ps on the base.

As said before we had an excellent trip. Cooperation by the Air Force was great and we saw and photographed lots of planes.
I made some small video's with my telephone, added a couple of pictures and some local music and put it onto You Tube. Enjoy!

Logs of the trip will appear in Scramble 378.
All thanks for checking out our pictures!

Hi Arjan,

That was my fault. I was a little stressed for time.
But the report is now almost ready, worked on it for a couple of hours today.
I only have to ask for a couple of pictures from the participants and then it is ready to go.

Hi Jurgen,

As Hans mentioned above, no possibility to send a PM, so I'll also post it here...

I know you're a busy guy, so no stress dude... I'll just wait for the next scramble to check my numbers of the Portugal tour. Next few months most of us will have enough time anyway for these kind of things...

Greetz,

Arjan
